This was also quite a stressful edit, because we had to fit in footage from their solemnization ceremony which was just before their banquet.

It was emotionally gratifying when the vows Chek Chai made to Serene almost one year ago came back with a different layer of meaning. Special mention should be made to fellow WCG guild member SimpleMotion, because I could not have achieved the flashbacks if a lesser team were filming their solemnization in June last year!

Even though it was a simple gesture, it was a special one. Be it the lyrics of the song or just the gesture of her searching for it and singing it, I felt so moved. It conjured up moments when I searched high and low for the perfect birthday card which spoke of my love for my dearest hubby. All memories of the effort faded to nothingness when I saw the smile on his face, and made it all worthwhile. :) I am sure Chui Ling felt the same way too.

"Opposites, He loves bicycles, she prefers vampire storybooks. He loves being out under the sun, she prefers to stay at home. He embraces excitement, she adores serenity. He is eccentric, while she is just happy with the ordinary. This is a story between an Energizer Bunny and a TV Junkie." Do opposites really attract? Yes and no, I guess. I think opposites do attract each other, especially so, at the initial stage. But, for a relationship to work out, there must be a point in life where the opposites reconcile. (Just my opinion.) And for Jansen & Drusilla, the reconciling point came through a pair of bunnies. Eye-opening is the word to describe the whole experience. There were loads of fresh experiences from this pre-wedding production. From the mountain-biking scenes taken in Tampines Bike Trail, to the trail-biking scenes where Jansen "jumped" off from his jeep, to the 'hidden' lalang fields with amazing sunset view, and many. Not forgetting the chance to witness how a pair of bunnies bring both of them closer to each other. Kudos to everyone from Ichiro Films who has sweated for this production!!! I am super glad that we pull it off well together. And of course, thank you Jansen Tan & Drusilla Tok Sing Min for the confidence and trust in us!!!
