It was a simple wedding dinner until the Yum Sheng challenge between the Maureen’s M1 colleagues and Anthony’s Police Force colleagues. The yum sheng continued for almost 10 mins. Maureen had let her hair down and enjoyed every moment of the Banquet dinner. Enjoy!

Experience Life

“Ultimately, no one can extract from things, books included, more than he already knows.
What one has no access to through experience one has no ear for.”

- Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Ecce Homo

I am now reading a science fiction epic by David Wingrove, Chung Kuo,
and got this profound statement which was quoted from Nietzsche.

In a different context, I guess no artist can create out of more than what
he/she has access to through experience. That is where I need to thank
Hwei Min for giving me access to such unconditional love. :)

Yew Chong And April

500 attended their church wedding, a testament to the amount of good friends they have.

Extremely high energy wedding! I nearly broke down in tears when Yew Chong and April decided to run back into church down the aisle! I have no stabilizers!

I found out from Yew Chong that their story was very similar to mine. His surprise proposal video really warmed our hearts. I will show you mine some day, Yew Chong! You’ll see what I mean! :)

Children Cancer Foundation, Hair for Hope Part2

The day had finally come. It took less than 2 mins to remove all my hair. The feeling is not so much of a sadness but joy. It was for a good cause to create the general public awareness of children cancer. My daughters, Close Friends and even neighbours could not recogonize me at first.

I would like to apologize to my wife, Swee Foong. Yesterday was her birthday and having my head shaved bald is one of her gift.

We were worried that some couples or their guest would feel uncomfortable to have a bald man moving around the wedding with a videocam. Having worked with Brian Ho and Edmund Leong before, people dont seem to be disturbed by them. Maybe it should be OK? At most, I bring a cap along loh.

Below are some of the pics taken before and after the shave. Cheers

It was a long day with a church ceremony in the afternoon. Jon has never failed to cheer for Spain during every photo shoot with his brothers. Oops, Jon! You forget that you were bounded by the love promise outside of Joanna’s room that soccer and cars will not co-exisit with her. Anyway, Spain WON the EURO 2008. Enjoy your honeymoon.

Was working alongside Kelvin Koh from Lighted Pixel. It was quite a while since our last shoot together, there were lots to catch up with him.

Below is their day trailer. Enjoy!!

Children Cancer Foundation, Hair for Hope Part1

Just attended the briefing last wed at KK hospital for the upcoming event, Hair for Hope. The briefing had given me more in-dept of what it is all about.

I am surprised that this HFH event is coming to its 6th year. To date, more than 1,400 children and families have benefitted from Children Cancer foundation’s services and programmes. The more shocking news is that every year in Singapore, about 120 new cases of children cancer is reported. HFH will be held next sunday 6th Jul 08 at Velocity, Novena Square. I will be shaved and became this year’s CCF ambassador.

There is a online pledge on the link below where people could donate under my pledge to shave off my hair. Do help these children and their family fight against their cancer.
